i am feeling a little sad that our vacation is over. i am thinking maybe it's because we badly needed a threesome togetherness vacation... who knows. all i know is it was lovely to be away with my two boys, good times were had.
we spent the first few days in osoyoos, british columbia's desert. we have always wanted to stay at the burrowing owl winery and finally went for it this year - it was definitely an indulgence! we loved the pool. we loved the surroundings. we loved the food (dolci cafe with their hidden patio and watermelon slushy was a great find). simply beautiful (despite the attacking miniature cacti and water sprinklers). it was a sweet few days.

we hiked up the hill by the vineyards but i didn't get far up as my boys - i was in my flip flops!
